Brian Weaver works as an online data marketing assistant, though even he is not sure what that means. His ordinary life is interrupted when he is suddenly transported to a parallel world ruled by strange magical forces and filled with bizarre inhabitants, including psychopathic fairies, Shell Men, seductive Demi-Fins and vicious Throcks.
