Former boy band star and singer-songwriter Mat is trying to live a relatively normal life, but everything starts to fall apart when his depression appears as Monika, a woman only he can see and hear. As Monika intrudes on his reality with the single aim of making it worse, Mat is forced to face a condition that has taken on a voice, a face, and a constant presence.
