In a culturally mixed Chicago neighborhood changing under the pressure of gentrification, gruff, old-school doughnut shop owner Arthur works to keep his small business alive. Alongside Franco, his energetic young employee and aspiring artist, Arthur navigates daily life with the loyal friends and patrons who gather at the shop and help make it a community fixture.
