Jimmy Chance is a clueless 24-year-old whose life changes after a one-night stand with a woman who turns out to be a serial killer. When she is sentenced to death, Jimmy becomes the single parent of their infant daughter. With no real idea how to raise a child, he leans on his oddball but well-meaning family as they all try to help him give the baby a stable home.
