Best friends and roommates Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney face the everyday misadventures of single life in the 1950s and 1960s. Though they are polar opposites, the two women work side by side at Milwaukee’s Shotz Brewery and rely on each other after hours, keeping their spirits up through work, home life, and whatever trouble comes their way.
