In 1950s and 1960s Milwaukee, Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney face the everyday misadventures of single life side by side. Best friends, roommates, and complete opposites, they work together at the Shotz Brewery and return home to keep each other going through whatever comes their way. Their clashing personalities only make their bond stronger as they navigate work, friendship, and life under one roof.
