In 1950s Milwaukee, hardware store owner Howard Cunningham and his wife, Marion, raise their children, Richard and Joanie, while navigating everyday family life and changing times. Along the way, they often find help, guidance, and complications from Fonzie, the lovable, motorcycle-riding greaser and Casanova whose presence is larger than life.
