Riley Matthews, the tween daughter of Cory and Topanga Matthews, continues to navigate growing up in Manhattan with help from her family, her friends, and her bold best friend Maya. At John Quincy Adams Middle School, Riley faces everyday lessons about friendship, identity, and the teenage years, with her father Cory also guiding her from the front of the classroom as her history teacher.
