Aquarius - Season 2

The new season opens in 1968, the year when Charles Manson and his “family” carried out the Tate-LaBianca murders. Manson (Gethin Anthony) will welcome a couple new members to the family this season including Tex Watson (Cameron Deane Stewart) and Patricia “Patty” Krenwinkel (Madisen Beaty), who, in real life, still sit in prison for those murders. The NBC drama will also explore the brief relationship Manson had with Beach Boys co-founder Dennis Wilson (played by Andy Favreau). Fresh off his medal of valor ceremony, Sam Hodiak (David Duchovny) is now under investigation by Internal Affairs for killing a suspect at the crime scene for which he was awarded the medal. In other real-life events crossing over into the historical fiction of Aquarius, episode three will be set against the backdrop of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination.
