A middle-aged married couple with two children is forced to move in with their aging parents and take on the strain of caring for sick relatives. As family responsibilities close in around them, the wife begins an affair with a suicidal lover, adding secrecy and emotional risk to an already fragile household shaped by duty, illness, and unresolved needs.
