In the wintry forests of North America, a mysterious drifter comes across an abandoned boy and his little sister as a dangerous infection spreads through the region. With those infected driven into a feral-like state, the drifter struggles to keep the children safe while moving through a cold, isolated landscape where every encounter could bring them closer to the threat.
