Tiger Eyes

After Davey’s father is killed in a hold-up, her family leaves home for a stay with relatives in New Mexico. As Davey, her mother, and her younger brother try to adjust in the wake of their loss, the unfamiliar place becomes part of her struggle to face what has happened. A friendship with a young man helps Davey begin to find the courage to carry on and confront the fears that have taken hold.
