The Silent Child

Libby, a deaf four-year-old girl, lives largely cut off from the world around her, surrounded by silence and unable to communicate in the way others do. When a caring social worker enters her life and begins teaching her sign language, Libby is given a new way to express herself, be understood, and connect with the people around her.
