The Rain People

After learning that she is pregnant, a housewife abruptly leaves town, driven by a need for freedom and space to think. Away from the life she has known, she tries to reassess the choices that have brought her to this moment and consider what she wants for herself, using the distance from home to confront her uncertainty about the future.
