After killing her husband, Grace Winston moves to Philadelphia and tries to start over while hiding the truth about what she has done. Living with Histrionic Personality Disorder, she becomes fixated on her neighbor and grows desperate for his attention. To draw him closer, Grace invents a threatening stalker, hoping fear will make him want to love and protect her.
