The Last Rifleman

A World War II veteran living in a care home in Northern Ireland slips away determined to reach France for the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings. As he makes the difficult trip, his quiet act of defiance becomes a test of endurance and resolve, forcing him to draw on long-buried courage and confront the ghosts of the past he has carried since the war.
