The Holiday

Amanda, a movie trailer editor in Los Angeles, and Iris, a journalist in Surrey, are both reeling from troubled love lives as Christmas approaches. Looking for distance and a fresh start, the two women agree to swap homes for two weeks. In unfamiliar surroundings, each begins to find unexpected romance with a local man, even as the end of the holiday threatens to send them back to their old lives.
