The Gateway

A social worker is assigned to look after the daughter of a single mother, trying to protect the child’s welfare as the family struggles to stay on stable ground. When the girl’s father is released from prison and comes back into their lives, his return threatens to pull the mother and daughter into a dangerous world of crime, forcing the social worker to step in before they are dragged further in.
