The Deer Hunter

A close group of friends sees their lives reshaped by the Vietnam War when three steelworkers enlist in the army and are sent overseas. One leaves behind a hurried marriage, while the others carry the weight of a shared love. As the war confronts them with experiences far removed from the lives they knew, their bonds, hopes and futures are changed forever.
