A former addict is pushed back toward the life he left behind when the ghost of his late mother pressures him to return home. Still carrying the weight of the family he abandoned, he grabs a bag of pills and a sack of marijuana and sets out on the road to Shreveport, Louisiana, where the past he has avoided is waiting for him.
