Sheba, a private detective working in Chicago, returns to her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, when her father needs help. Back home, she steps into a dangerous conflict as he tries to fight off mobsters closing in on him. Using her skills as an investigator, Sheba takes on the threat while reconnecting with the place and family she left behind.
