Libby, an IT guru, flies to Los Angeles to start a new job, only to discover the position has disappeared. With no work and few options, she is willing to take almost anything. After a purse snatcher unexpectedly brings her into the path of Dan, a single cop, she reluctantly agrees to help care for two abandoned children until a foster home can be found.
