When his grandmother becomes ill, Recep is pushed to take a hard look at what she wants for him. Hoping to make her happy, the rough and foolish Recep sets out to meet her wishes in the most practical ways he can: by getting a job and trying to find a suitable wife. His efforts to prove himself lead him into a new phase of responsibility, even if he approaches it in his own unruly way.
