Promises

As children, a group of latchkey kids form a close bond, but their connection is broken when one of them moves away. Years later, they cross paths again without recognizing each other, each having changed names in an effort to leave painful histories behind. As the truth of their shared past comes into focus, they are forced to face old wounds and the choices that helped them survive.
