Lily and Alison leave their home by the Salton Sea after meeting a group of boys and deciding to follow them back to Los Angeles. Away from the place they know, the two girls are drawn into a situation that changes the course of their lives. Their trip becomes a turning point, shaped by the choices they make after leaving home behind.
