After becoming lost on the streets of Calcutta, thousands of kilometers from home, a five-year-old Indian boy struggles to survive far from everything he knows. He is eventually adopted by an Australian couple and begins a new life overseas. Twenty-five years later, still marked by the family he lost, he sets out to find where he came from and reconnect with his past.
