Life as a House

After being diagnosed with terminal cancer, a father takes custody of his teenage son and tries to reconnect while he still can. But the boy is withdrawn, angry, and deeply resistant to him, spending his time getting high, avoiding his father, and drifting into small-time prostitution. With their relationship already strained, the two are forced into uneasy closeness under difficult circumstances.
