An interracial newlywed couple, Chris and Lisa Mattson are moving into their first home. Chris’s first exchanges with their neighbor, longtime LAPD detective Abel Turner, have somewhat hostile undertones, with Abel making comments about Chris’ smoking and listening to hip hop music.
