Khartoum

In 1884 Sudan, British General Charles “Chinese” Gordon is appointed military governor of Anglo-Egyptian Sudan and sent to evacuate Egyptian forces. But as Khartoum comes under threat from an invading Muslim army led by Mohammed Ahmed el Mahdi, Gordon chooses to remain and defend the city, putting himself at the center of a dangerous siege.
