An underachieving vocal coach tries to break into the competitive world of movie-trailer voice-overs, where she finds herself up against her arrogant father, a legendary figure in the business, and his protege. Pushed by his example and challenged by the industry around her, she pursues her own chance to become a voice-over star while navigating pride, sexism and family dysfunction.
