Heart of Batman

In the early 1990s, animators Paul Dini and Bruce Timm were asked to create a new Batman cartoon while doubts lingered over whether the character could move beyond his campy TV past. This documentary looks at the rare group of artists and storytellers whose work became Batman: The Animated Series, and how the show continued to influence fans and creators 25 years later.
