Eli and Daniel, two Korean American brothers, run a struggling women’s shoe store in Los Angeles County. Their friend Kamilla, an 11-year-old Black girl, often drops in to help, forming an unlikely bond with them. When the Rodney King verdict sparks the 1992 L.A. riots, the three face a tense day defending the store while confronting questions of family, dreams, and what comes next.
