Katelin Kingsford is a teenage figure skater with Olympic hopes and a dream of training with Natasha, a top Russian coach working at a nearby private school. When attending the school becomes the only way to get close to the instruction she wants, Katelin earns a scholarship by joining the girls hockey team, balancing a new sport with her goal of becoming a champion on the ice.
