Dark Star

Twenty years into a lonely mission in the far reaches of space, a small crew of scientists continues its strange assignment: destroying unstable planets before they become a threat. But the routine begins to unravel as things go absurdly wrong aboard the ship, from trouble with their alien mascot to a sensitive, intelligent bombing device that starts questioning the meaning of its own existence.
