Cake

A woman living with chronic pain struggles to make sense of disturbing visions of a member of her support group who died by suicide. Drawn into the aftermath of the loss, she seeks out the woman’s widower, forcing herself closer to a grief that is not her own while confronting the pain, isolation, and unanswered questions shaping her own life.
