Brooklyn

In the 1950s, young Irish immigrant Eilis Lacey leaves Ireland for a new life in Brooklyn, where she begins to settle into an unfamiliar world and soon falls into a romance with a local man. But when her past in Ireland catches up with her, Eilis is pulled between the life she has started in New York and the one she left behind, forcing her to face a choice between two men and two countries.
