Beyond White Space

In the furthest reaches of the known universe, the deep-space fishing vessel USS Essex encounters a gigantic creature. When pirates rob the ship of its cargo and most of its supplies, the captain makes a dangerous choice: pursue a rare, nearly extinct species. As his obsession drives the crew farther into space, tensions rise and the threat of mutiny and betrayal grows.
