Between the Temples

A grief-stricken cantor is struggling through a crisis of faith when an unexpected figure from his past returns: his grade school music teacher. Now seeking an adult Bat Mitzvah, she becomes his new student, upending the routines of his life. As teacher and former pupil reconnect in this changed relationship, two lonely people begin to form a quietly meaningful bond.
