In Nevada, a young woman is drawn into the orbit of a female drifter whose dangerous freedom offers an escape from ordinary life. What begins as friendship grows into a romantic relationship, while the drifter introduces her to stripping, drugs, and strange metaphysical experiences. As fantasy and desire take hold, she begins to face the consequences of the darker world she has entered.
