After his wife Dawn dies in a fire, genetics professor Adam Slope turns to cloning in a desperate attempt to bring her back. But the woman he creates is not quite the same as the wife he loved. Unable to accept the difference, Adam repeats the experiment again and again, trying to recreate Dawn exactly as she was.
